I have a love for movies and television series. In the past I wrote about this more actively in the form of reviews, and I occasionally still do.
I recently finished viewing the first season of NBC Television Series “The Event”. I’ll try not to give too much away, but its twenty-two episode run reminded me of 24, although: it does not share the “real-time” format for which that series is famous. Belgian series creator Nick Wauters motivated the start of the series: “It’s about a normal guy, Sean Walker, gradually getting caught in a huge conspiracy”.
This movie marks the end of a string of no less than eight films with an increasingly mature tone matching that of the books. Due to it’s length and many twists the last book is probably the most difficult to turn into a feature film. So, how satisfactory is this conclusion of the franchise?
The first Transformers movie was a pleasant surprise, the second a let down with a confusing haphazard plot. So, is the third instalment any good? Does it bring the franchise back to its initial glory? Let’s find out.
